Is your website credible?

The latest website credibility guidelines have just been formulated by Stanford University.

  • Make it easy to verify the accuracy of the information on your site.
  • Show that there's a real organization behind your site.
  • Highlight the expertise in your organization and in the content and services you provide.
  • Show that honest and trustworthy people stand behind your site.
  • Make it easy to contact you.
  • Design your site so it looks professional (or is appropriate for your purpose).
  • Make your site easy to use - and useful.
  • Update your site's content often (at least show it's been reviewed recently).
  • Use restraint with any promotional content (e.g., ads, offers).
  • Avoid errors of all types, no matter how small they seem.

these aspects will also help your site be indexed well in Google because your website will have useful and easy to use information.

Marketing Makeover Generator

What is MMG?

Simply the latest product from Alex Mandossian, Armand Morin and Rick Raddatz.

If you recognize these names it is because you have probably been exposed to their marketing in some form. They are behind Audio Generator and Instant Video Generator - two remote hosted tools for internet users. (They are both convenient yet a little dear compared to audiowiz by Brett Mcfall).

This latest product, Marketing Makover Generator is essentially an Opt In (Name squeeze Page) system with nice templates. It combines Audio, Video, Sales Copy and Database collection with an autoresponder. It also split tests for you (comparing the results of one page/headline versus another), and conducts an exit survey if the prospect leaves your page without subscribing.

(It costs about $39.95 per month US dollars).

If you think that is too expensive like I did,

You could just make your own by subscribing to aweber (for autoresponder), get audiowiz (for audio message, and have a name squeeze copy (Just "borrow" one you like - see this one of ours).

In any case, it is well worth reading the blurb to familiarize yourself with the strategies involved. It is pitched at people who are technologically challenged.
