termites eat twice as much when they listen to heavy metal...
So What? you ask....
The point is, environmental changes can significantly impact your results - good or bad.
Make sure your environment is allowing you to be as productive as possible. I have developed many successful systems to combat varied workloads.
(For those of you who don't know, J-Six Solutions manages about twenty web sites, and runs a full time family of ....yes you guessed it six!)
Useful Tip1: Put half a tin of fresh coffee with holes in the lid under your desk (near the computer) and see what difference that makes to your motivation when you are working away! The fresh coffee smell has a very motivating effect on me anyway.
Useful Tip2: Have two whiteboards near your desk. One for "macro" tasks - like your "to do" list. The second is for your "micro" tasks, for breaking down your "current" job. The second whiteboard is the one that constantly gets refreshed as you move from task to task.
Well, I am sure you have been waiting for the next post of "real" wisdom from the me:
I have been very, very busy lately. Just got back from the Grand Prix down in Melbourne (Australia) and had a great relax. The race was great, and a reminder of teamwork, skill, money and luck!
What you can expect from me this month...
Firstly -
I will be sending loyal subscribers a gift (free software), it will definitely NOT be made available on this site! So, if you are not a subscriber we estimate you have about one day to subscribe. (It's free!)
Secondly -
I will continue cleaning out (grooming) the whole domain, and adding moving my sub-domains to their own domains (they have been talked about in prior post, soon you get to explore them.) Have you noticed the new logo? what do you think? what else would you like to see on this site? (email feedback),
(special thanks to Matt, Wes and Dion from juicecreative for the logo design)
Thirdly -
The most common question I get is "how do I start up a website?". The answers are just around the corner!
