Two Years Makes A Huge Difference
What a difference two years makes online
When I started this blog I made a lot of mistakes, and then learnt how to fix them the hard way.
If I had my time again I would do things differently. I get the same questions over and over again from clients about the internet and I can certainly relate to the feeling of overwhelm that starting out initiates.
What is J-Six Solutions up to these days?
Primarily an online marketing business now, J-Six Solutions runs multiple web sub entities and also provides services.
Many of the J-Six websites are know to the public however there also some "under the radar" back office partners as well.
Most of the frontline stuff is reported from www.InternetMarketingSpeed.com as the internet side of the business grows well into the five figures per month region.
Soon J-Six Solutions will be realeasing some more offline products for business owners. These will be reported on from www.SalesMarketingProfit.com.
Each of these websites will have a newsletter - so please be patient and we will let you know when the SMP site is up and running.

Copywriting Secrets You Must Know
With permission from the author, Andrew Cavanagh, I have reprinted it in entirety here:
Read On To Discover The PROVEN Insider Secrets Of Increasing The AVERAGE Sale From Your Online Business To $700 Or MORE...
“Are YouMaking These Mistakes
With Your Online Marketing?”
“3 POWERFUL
Secrets Of Online Copy
Even The Greatest Marketers Alive
Are Neglecting...”

You can pass on this report or sell it as long as it is offered in its unaltered form with all links live and active.
You can experiment and split test a thousand different factors to improve the response from your online copy but taking a step back and anyalyzing a few key, fundamental areas can improve your copy, your business profits and client loyalty.
You know what it's like...
You're constantly busy and it's just so easy to get caught up in the details and the nitty gritty of online marketing and go off on tangents that take you away from critical marketing fundamentals.
If you want to massively increase the bottom line profits of your business in the short and long term you need to constantly keep your eye on the big picture so you always understand where all the small pieces fit in and how important or unimportant they are...
Neglected Marketing Fundamental Number One
Online Your OFFER Is Everything...
The first and THE most fundamental key to multiplying your response online is your offer.
Sometimes we need to review all our online copy, all our product offers and all the products we have in development and ask the fundamental question...
“What Can I GIVE
Online...”
Your attitude online can either shine online or it can stink.
Either way it really shows to anyone and everyone who visits your website and has any contact with you.
What happens if you really go out of your way to GIVE to your prospects and clients online?
Giving to your prospects and clients way beyond anything you've done before.
Let me tell you a story.
I did a piece of copy for Michael Senoff at hardtofindseminars.com.
If you don't know Michael he has a site that gives away literally tens of thousands of dollars worth of high quality audios, transcripts, reports and more completely free.
There's interviews there with Jay Conrad Levinson, Carl Galetti, Brian Keith Voiles and audio from Gary Halbert, Dan Kennedy, Ted Nicholas and John Carlton.
The site is PACKED with high quality stuff you'd pay a FORTUNE for anywhere else.
But on Michael's site it's FREE.
Now the copy I did for Michael was an offer for an hour's worth of marketing consulting PLUS $700 worth of Jay Abraham tapes or other appropriate marketing materials.
Both for just $700.
As an introductory offer if you qualify you could get the first 15 minutes of consulting free.
Now Michael and I are friends.
We exchange emails regularly.
But immediately after he launched the copy for this offer the steady stream of emails stopped abruptly.
The phone in his office was ringing off the hook – every man and his dog wanting to take him up on the consulting offer.
Now why did we settle on the figure of $700 for this offer?
Well I simply asked Michael “What's the average sale from your business?”
The answer: $700.
Think about that for a minute.
$700...
“Would You Like An Online Business That Has An Average Sale Of $700?”
Michael also sells products online with prices in the $3,900 even $5,900 range.
Here's the lesson.
Online you can deliver as much digital product as you like FREE or for next to no cost.
You can give your prospects and clients HUGE value.
And if you take the attitude of “What can I give?” then you can have an average sale of $700 or MORE...
And regularly sell high ticket items worth THOUSANDS of dollars each.
That leads to the first online copy secret and even the greatest marketers online aren't capitalizing to the fullest on this secret.
Your offer is EVERYTHING and online you can deliver almost exponentially more value at minimal cost.
Add value to all the offers you make with a heap of high value targeted, related products delivered online.
This works in the offline world too...
I appear regularly on 40 commercial radio stations across Australia talking about health.
Due to the power of free publicity and a very good press release or two I am considered one of the world's leading diet and lifestyle authorities.
Just as an aside I've also helped other friends get huge radio exposure too.
Not just ten minutes but one or two hours at a time on multiple radio stations.
Back to my story.
In one radio offer I sold an audio CD for $20 but I gave the buyers over $140 in free bonuses they could download “If they could get to an internet connection.”
Now if you know about radio listeners they are NOT all connected to the internet.
But telling them they could get $140 worth of bonuses made the offer many times more
inticing.
Now you have a massive advantage I don't have when I appear on the radio.
When you're selling online you know you're prospect is hooked up to the internet.
And online what does it cost you to give your buyers an extra audio, 10 free ebook downloads, some free software?
A few cents worth of bandwidth. Next to nothing and you only have that cost AFTER you
make a sale.
But if your bonuses are highly targeted they make...
1. Your offer many times more valuable and...
2. Your client much more likely to do business with you in the future because you gave them such incredible value.
But there's even more implications to making your offer more powerful with online delivery of a whole range of extra products...
“A Great Offer
And Delivery Of That Offer
Makes Risk Reversal A Breeze...”
Giving your clients 10-20 times the value of what they pay makes giving a great money back guarantee a real no-brainer.
I'm sure you know the longer the money back guarantee the less refunds you get – assuming you deliver a product of value.
Generally speaking if you offer a one year guarantee your client is less likely to ask for a refund than if you offer a 30 day guarantee.
They don't feel as pressured into making a decision about whether to ask for a refund or not when you give them more time.
And a few months after buying the product they've forgotten about it.
Now think again about increasing the value of your offer – the value of what you deliver to your client.
What if you double that value. Or triple it. Or give ten times or even twenty times the value.
If you're giving $200 genuine value when your client is spending $20 you'll slash your refund requests.
With my health products I've NEVER had a refund request on a product I delivered.
How confident can you be with your guarantee if you KNOW your clients won't be asking for a refund?
In the example I mentioned before I went on 40 commercial radio stations across Australia and gave a 50 year unconditional money back guarantee.
I told them if they weren't thrilled with the quality of the information they didn't even have to send back the product.
Just let me know and I'd send them back their money.
I got NO refund requests. ZERO.
A powerful offer with massive value to your clients means you can give a fantastic guarantee.
And fantastic risk reversal guarantees can multiply the response from your sales message – sometimes exponentially.
And there's more...
A Great Offer Can Also
Add Credibility To A Compelling
“Reason Why”
When your prospects are reading your copy they're wondering...
“Is this some kind of scam?”
“Is this guy for real?”
“Is he really going to deliver or am I just gonna get ripped off again with another pile of crap?”
If you tell people WHY you're making them such a great offer it makes it so much more
believable.
And a great offer can even give you a reason why your prospect should act NOW.
Even some of the greatest marketers online have copy that makes you want to cringe when you get to the reason you should act now.
It starts okay...
“Act now because...”
And then it kind of falters and peters out...
“...I could end this offer at any second...”
“...because my cat's sick and I'm too busy to take go to the bank and withdraw the money you'll send me...”
You might as well just put in the real reason why...
“Act now because I read somewhere in some copywriting manual that I have to tell you to act now because that's supposed to increase my sales.”
Stop insulting the intelligence of your prospects.
Your reason why has to be believable.
You've probably heard the story about the furniture retailer whose roof leaked in a storm.
He advertised the furniture with slight water damage at a discount but only on the limited amount of damaged stock and only until it was all sold.
Now this is a true story...
The water damage sale went so well he climbed up on the roof in the middle of the night and punched a few more holes in there so he'd have more water damaged furniture to sell.
Water damage to furniture.
It's believable isn't it.
It also gives you a compelling believable reason to act NOW.
You know there's only so much furniture there that's damaged and you know everyone else will be rushing to that store by plane, train, automobile or even their daughter's tricycle to nab a bargain.
What if your offer was just so outrageous – 5, 10 or 20 times the value of the price you're selling at.
THAT makes a “marketing trial” “limited time offer” believable.
And it gives you a compelling reason why too.
Imagine this reason why in your copy...
“I'm willing to give you $1,000 worth of my products in this marketing test for just $50 because I'm in this business for the long haul...
“I truly value you as a long term client and I know you'll be so thrilled with the value in this $1,000 package that you'll come back to me and buy from me over and over again, year after
year.
“But you must act NOW. If this marketing test doesn't create a high enough percentage of long term, highly valuable clients to be profitable I will end this offer forever.
“I'd hate for you to miss out...”
Notice also how this kind of copy builds a personal relationship with your prospect in several different and subtle ways.
This is a huge secret to powerful online copy we'll cover later.
Now think about that statement...
“I know you'll be so thrilled with the value in this $1,000 package that you'll come back to me and buy from me over and over again, year after year.”
Not only is it a compelling believable “reason why” it also sets up your clients for all those valuable back end sales.
And I know you understand the real profits are in back end sales.
And most important of ALL.
From start to finish every word of this “reason why” is true. That's why it's so believable.
So consider spending a lot more time in the phase of working out “How can I make a really, really enticing offer.
What can I give my clients. How can I increase the value of this product?
Can I add audio, video, reports, software?”
“Can I interview another expert in the field?
Can I interview half a dozen experts in the field?”
“Can I get a dozen of my potential prospects on the phone and let them ask me their mostburning questions...and answer them...all on audio?”
“Can I provide links to the 10 best websites or online resources for my clients?”
“Can I give a free consulting session to anyone who buys?
As you probably know most free consulting offers are never claimed. This is a high value bonus that usually works out very much in your favour if you offer it.
Reaaly scour the bushes.
Contact your business associates with other similar programs and do a deal.
Come up with a whole pile of high, quality, high value related bonuses.
Keep asking yourself...
“What can I GIVE?”
If you find a whole pile of front end reports, ebooks and audio that could also multiply your chances of creating affiliate incomes from a back end sale.
I challenge you, I double dare you to go back to your online product offers and add bonuses worth two, three, ten even TWENTY times as much as the product you're selling.
In copy your offer is EVERYTHING.
And I'll repeat it because it's just so important.
In online copy you can add value to your offer very easily by adding plenty of high quality downloads.
It's one of Andrew Cavanagh's top ten irrefutable marketing rules...
“Make An Offer
Your Prospect Would Be
CRAZY To Refuse...”
Since you don't need or want to do business with crazy people this will give you a TON of really great clients.
And they'll be loyal because you've given them 10-20 times the value they'd expect.
So neglected marketing fundamental number one is the offer is everything.
Put together an irresistable offer by adding 5-20 times the value of high quality, targeted, related digital, downloadable products.
Neglected Marketing Fundamental Number Two
Advertising Is Salesmanship In Print...
Now for online marketing fundamental number two and a quote I know you've heard...
“Advertising Is
Salesmanship In Print...”
Here's a question for you...
When was the last time you physically talked to a potential prospect for one of your products?
Now I don't mean by email and I certainly don't mean in an artificial situation like a seminar.
I don't mean on an online forum either.
What I'm talking about is you talking to someone live, one and one, in person...
Someone who doesn't know your background.
And step by step finding out what their needs and wants are and persuading them to the point where they want to buy your product and they can tell you exactly WHY they want to buy your product...
If you haven't done this recently you really need to and I'll tell you why.
You'll find out in minutes where your prospects hot buttons are.
You'll see from their vacant stare what words and phrases are just not communicating clearly.
You'll see graphically from their yawns and disinterest what approaches are turning them off and from their enthusiastic interest what approaches are getting their attention.
You'll find out what solutions they're really looking for and what kinds of offers and headlines are likely to work.
You can spend a small fortune on marketing consultants and marketing programs or you can talk completely FREE to the greatest marketing genius alive - your prospect.
Your prospect knows exactly what he wants to buy, what he'll pay for it and what approach will work to sell him.
And all you have to do to tap this gold mine of knowledge is to ask.
I know what most online marketers will say...
Great idea, I'll do an online survey and an exit “ask why” campaign.
It's NOT the same.
Trust me.
Do your online survey and your exit campaign as well but talking to 2 or 3 real, live people, one on one, will give you more insight than 100 online surveys or emails.
Try it and you'll see what I mean.
Here's a few questions you could ask...
“Have you bought anything off a saleman or online in the last 12 months?”
“Exactly what was it that persuaded you to buy?”
“What did you like about the approach made to you?”
“What did you dislike?”
“If I was trying to sell something to you what approach would be most likely to work?”
“What would I have to say or do to get you to buy?”
“What could I do that would put you off buying from me?”
You'll be amazed at the replies you'll get to questions like these.
You'll see just how far off the mark you are with your online marketing efforts and what works in the real world.
So actually talk live to your potential prospects and find out what they really want and what's really likely to sell them.
While we're on the subject of advertising being salesmanship in print...
One of the great “secrets” of salesmanship is that you DON'T try to sell ice to eskimoes – even if they ask to buy it.
Instead you explain to that ice hungry eskimo where he can get all the ice he wants completely FREE just outside his back door.
That builds trust. And it's morally the right thing to do.
It's the fundamental difference between an attitude of “What can I take?” and an attitude of “What can I give?”
And that leads into the last neglected key to online copy and it really is vital.
Neglected Marketing Fundamental Number Three
The Hidden Secret To Persuasion...
Let me tell you about another one of my friends - Robin Elliot from Canada.
Robin is the world's leading expert on using joint ventures in small business to create risk free cash flow.
He has over 18 years of experience actively pursuing joint ventures...
And he's helped literally thousands of businesses and business owners in Africa, Canada and the United States make HUGE risk free, almost effortless profits.
Robin is so well connected he was listed in the 2002 Who's Who Of Entrepreneurs and the When I first met Robin he was running his excellent joint venture bootcamps and his exclusive joint venture forum for established business people actively looking to find other high quality joint venture partners.
But he had NO real physical products.
Here's a multi-million dollar lesson I learned from Michael Senoff.
If you speak, if you consult, if you talk to your neighbour about your products or services...
Even if you're just talking to the neighbour's dog...
“For God's Sake
Get It
Recorded!...”
Get it on audio. Get it on video.
Put a recorder on your telephone.
Record, record, record.
I tell that to everyone I work with because it's by far the simplest way to create your own information products.
And as with many of my highly valued friends and clients I sent Robin a stack of emails suggesting products he might be able to create from work he was already doing.
I don't know if Robin was listening but he now has his excellent, thousand dollar joint venture bootcamps on audio with an accompanying workbook.
And he's creating audio products faster than anyone I've seen.
You can check out the copy for this program at www.businessjointventure.com
Now think about it...
How much is audio of a seminar people happily pay a thousand dollars for worth?
Is that a highly valuable product?
What did it cost Robin to record that audio?
Just the time it took to set up the recorder.
And he can sell the CD set and workbook for up to $797, use it to add value to his program, generate enormous credibility and more.
Now stay tuned for the hidden lesson in this story. This is absolutely vital and I don't want you to miss it.
Here's what Robin Elliot was kind enough to say about me...
“What first impressed me about Andrew and still does: His absolute integrity and
professionalism. I think he invented the saying, "Go the extra mile" - nothing is too much trouble for his grateful clients and associates.”
“If you want a secure, uplifting business relationship, Andrew is your man.”
Some Things
Really Are More Important
Than Money...
Let me share with you my absolute favourite “testimonial” from a young lady who's simply a friend of mine. No business, professional or romantic ties whatsoever.
Here's the email she sent me...
“Dear Andrew,”
“People aren't often told what other people think about them."
“I think you are a great person and you are friendly to everyone you meet. I really admire that about you and am taking it as a lesson for myself.
“Thank you for encouraging and teaching me...”
“Thank you for being such a nice person to me.”
- Mikayla Curtis, Cairns.
Now Robin Elliot is a wonderful client and truly a pleasure to do business with.
So why do I value those special words from a teenage woman above the testimonial of the world's leading joint venture expert (listed in the Who's Who Of Entrepreneurs)...
Because Mikayla went beyond just being genuine and sincere – she was putting herself on the line emotionally and speaking from the heart.
Her deep appreciation shines through in every word.
Our relationship is honest, very personal and very genuine.
“It's Obvious
She Appreciates Me And
She Cares...”
And that's what you need to create, sustain and nurture in ALL your online marketing and ALL your online copy.
Your prospects and clients want to feel like you really care about them.
They want to feel like SOMEWHERE in this dark and cold world there's SOMEONE out there who still does business the old fashioned way...
With a smile and the odd personal note...
Good old friends who trust and respect each other and shake hands with each other every Sunday in church.
They want to know when things aren't going the way they should you'll be looking out for them and making things right.
They want to know you see them as a person - not just another sucker you can make a lousy buck from.
After reading Mikayla's brilliant piece of online copy do you think I'd read her next email?
Do you think I'd answer her phone calls or read any mail she sent me?
Do you think she'd have a pretty HOT chance of selling me just about anything she wanted?
And do you think with her attitude that if she offered to sell me something I'd feel pretty confident that it would be genuinely valuable to me – that she was offering it because she firmly believed it was in MY best interests.
“You Create That
Personal Relationship With Your Prospects
And Clients In A Thousand Subtle Ways...”
In the wording of every email, every sales letter, every communication.
It's the difference between a copywriter who's a good copywriter and a copywriter who's a great copywriter, a great writer AND a great salesman.

Top 1%
The one stop source I was using was the SBI (Site Build It) results page where the top 1% of Alexa ranked websites using SBI are listed. It is a nice mixture of well performing sites.
I noticed that J-Six Solutions (and three of our other websites) ranks within the top 1% of all websites in the world, even without using SBI.
Some clues on how to achieve this are here: www.jamesschramko.com/seo
Play to your Strengths to make profit
What is it about?
Essentially it is about leveraging your time better to be a more strategic business operator. Too many business entrepreneurs are "opportunisitic" with spasmodic instant gratification moves, as opposed to those more successful entrepreneurs who have a long term strategic plan and stick to the main vision. Rich drafts out the main roles in having an online business, and then explains how to get more done faster.
Main lesson:
- Rather than do this myself, who could I get to do it better, faster and cheaper than I could.
Missing Chapter
Rich just released an additional chapter. It was so powerful I recommend you get it here and understand the simple truth in it.
The summary:
- A website alone does not equal a Business
- Stop chasing things that merely interest you (hobby)
- Time = life. Use it wisely
- Work with your strengths (business)
- Make excellent decisions

System - why you need it...
You
Stress
Time
Energy
Money
That's what a system does. Saves you stress time energy/effort and money.
Anyone switched on will have a great system. A System is a "way of doing things" in a pre-planned, logical order so that you minimize time wastage.
Once you have a system you can truly achieve more in a day, and more importantly you will be able to build something that works without you.
Sounds good....
Importantly, in business you need to be able to step back from the "doing" a little and observe and strategize. You need quality "think" time. A system will allow your business to run whilst you are not there.
J-Six Solutions has identified the following areas that are perfect for systemizing. This forms part of the SYSTEM audit.
What to systemize in your business:
People and Education
- training programs
- recruitment systems
- staffing plans
- conflict resolution
- meetings
- recognition
- remuneration
- core values
- how-to manuals
- paperless systems
- service consistency
- safer delivery
- stock turnover
- stock receiving/ordering
- delivery services
- delivery timing
- rostering staff
- security
- monthly budgets
- yearly targets
- conversion rates
- internal purchases
- marketing analysis
- petty cash
- profit reporting
- lead tracking
- credit control
- sales per person
- balance sheet
- KPI's
- cashflow statement
- banking system
- tax reporting
- payroll superannuation
- equipment maintenance
- computer invoicing
- operations manual
- stock control
- systems training
- systems induction
- software upgrades
- phone systems
- quality control
- backup system
- workflow processes
- sales & marketing systems
- database program
- policies procedures manual
- office equipment
- prioritise extraordinary task
- security system
I hope that helps you get started. Remember, a SYSTEM working properly will free up your time, and let you concentrate on high dollar activities!

Setting up a website for your business - Part 6
Once you have a website, and you have content, and you are starting to pre-sell (building a relationship with your prospects) and you are selling things as a result of that, you will want to focus on driving more traffic to your site.
Most business owners are great at what they do day to day, and they have little or NO idea about website strategies and knowledge
The failure rate is so high on the internet because there are so many sites, and so few marketing minded business owners.
You will throw money away if you spend thousands getting a "techno" person to design the most beautiful site in the world if it does not bring you any more visitors or more importantly $$$$ profit!
Why have a website unless someone will look at it?
(To see what your website or someone elses for that matter is "doing" go to www.alexa.com and use the traffic rankings search for the website address) - If your website is not in the top 1,000,000 sites, you are missing valuable traffic and profit you need to promote it better.
Write an article
Author an article of about 50o -700 words relating to your core niche target market, and answer problems, offer advice and solutions. Put good content and an authors signature (bio) at the end of it in the "resource" box linking to your website. Submit it to article directories. (If you need to find an article directory, try using Google and typing "submit article" + "(insert your topic/speciality)"
learn how to write good articles
Pay per click
So easy to do, this is the instant way to drive traffic to your site. Go to Google and start a keyword specfic campaign to find qualified buyers.
Learn more about pay-per-click with this free five day course
Search Engine Optimization
This is a big subject, and it involves making your website more "optimized" in the eyes of clients so they vote for it by visiting it more often, and then in turn you get better rankings in the search engine. There are on-page and off-page strategies you can apply.
Grab a free 90 page search engine optimzation ebook here (right click to "save target as")
So there you have a 6 part series on setting up a website for your business.
Good luck!
Setting up a website for your business - Part 5
Once you have an email address, start sending quality useful information. It can be anything from letting your prospects know about the latest blog post, to a mini-series course.
You can announce special training programs, new products, useful tips and tricks.
People want information to be simple and easy to implement. Make your automated follow-up the focus instead of fancy graphics and crazy flash presentations on your website. Once your followup starts, you will be building the relationship on auto pilot.
Make your website a marketing tool. This way you can leverage your efforts more than if you were making every call, either on the phone or face to face.
Get your autoresponder here
Setting up a website for your business - Part 4
It takes more than 7 or 8 contacts with an average prospect to turn them into a client. In some very competitive fields this can be as many as 15 - 20 contacts.
How do you build a relationship with your client automatically and simply?
You get one chance when someone visits your site to start that relationship. You need to collect a name and an email address. This will allow you to engage the services of a trusty automated follow-up system (known as an autoresponder) With the technology and tools available now it is easy to make products you can use as giveaways.
Offer one or more of these items on your website to attract names and email addresses:
- free report
- free software
- free ezine
- free service
- free streaming audio course
- anything of quality - targetted to solving a problem for your client
Stop leaving money on the table and start your autoresponder service now.
The worlds best autoresponder service is here.See an example of a "name squeeze" page here
Setting up a website for your business - Part 3
Now that you have identified your target market and clearly understand what you are offering them, keep the options simple.
We made this mistake early in the J-Six Solutions days, offering too many solutions to too many people. We now know our target market is primarily business people who wish to enhance sales, marketing and profit activities, and are either considering going online, or are already online and evolving.
Give your target market clear concise specialized solutions
Clients will pay for specialists to solve special problems.
Ask yourself these questions to determine what niche you should be serving:
- Who do you like working with most?
- Can they afford you?
- Is the market large enough to support you financially?
- How heavy is the competition, are they heavily serviced?
- What knowledge or skills do you have to service that market?
- Is there an easy way to access that market and contact them?
Get your domain name here, and host your website here
Setting up a website for your business - Part 2
This happens in offline marketing all the time. How often do you see people market themselves telling you all about how terrific they are, and how many degrees they hold, and how they dealt with ABC company, and they dangle huge logos in the top of the advertisement etc..
Be prepared to answer SO WHAT? after your headline. If the client does not see a benefit, you just lost them in the first few seconds. Most people visit your website ONCE if you have nthing to offer.
Answer these questions when building your website:
- What can I do for my client?
- what benefits and solutions are they interested in?
- what beneficial outcomes and results can I explain clearly in my stories?
Ok, so remember to ask SO WHAT? after each benefit. (Try it on one of your competitiors websites and you will see what I mean!)
Setting up a website for your business - Part 1
90% of them SUCK and have no real commercial benefit - in fact they probably detract from the business!
When setting up your website start with these questions:
- Who is my target market?
- What problems do they face?
- How do I solve those problems?
- What am I trying to achieve as the end result?
- What is the best business model for me?
- How do I collect the name and email of every visitor?
- Have I answered the clients WIFM (What's in it for me) question?

Sales and Marketing Audit for results
A Sales and Marketing review could be just the thing to get you focussed.
What should you ask yourself?
I have grabbed a sample from the J-Six Solutions Sales and Marketing system for you to get some ideas:
Why did you start your business?
What is your primary goal in business?
What are the three biggest challenges in your business?
What business plan do you have in place?
When do you review it?
What systems do you use to utilize time effectively?
What is your turnover?
What was it last year?
What will it be next year?
What will you do to achieve that?
What marketing and advertising do you do in your business?
What is the average sale price?
How do you get enquiries?
What scripts/systems do you use?
How many sales do you make each day/week/month?
When did you last upgrade your selling skills?
Do you track your conversions?
Do you track your Lost sales?
Do you have sales tools such as evidence manuals/brochures/testimonials?
Do you cross/up/down sell?
Do you have loss leader products?
Do you have a database?
What do you do with it?
What followup programs have you used?
What loyalty programs do you have?
How do you get referrals?
etc......
There is plenty more you can ask yourself ranging from how to incorporate websites to staffing concerns.
The main point - Entrepreneurs often fly by the seat of the pants, however this structured discipline of self analysis will harvest more profit for your business if you commit to it.
Once you have interviewed yourself, draft an action plan for the top ten things you have identified you need to implement, starting today....
A Sales & Marketing Audit is one of many successful services J-Six Solutions developed by observing successful business operators, and researching multiple business resources.
The Goal of a search engine
By relevant content, I mean the best possible answer or "solution" to the search term (or question) typed in to the search box.
How to apply this to your online business?
- Ensure you use the relevant keywords for your product or service within your web pages.
- get inbound links from other people with similar services or products - the search engine will view your website as being more relevant if you have links coming into it (it is a poularity vote for your website). Also the closeness to topic will impact the "power" of the incoming links. The closer the more powerful.
- Gear your content to be original, useful and easy to navigate. Search engines love user friendly information.
These tips should help if you intend to build a "selling" website.

too many clients?
If you offer a quality service, you could replicate your materials, then create a training program for joint venture partners to operate under their own entities.
Find people who would like to do what you do, and teach them what to do, and let them reward you for your knowledge and resources.
You can then create a two tiered market rate, one for the master, another for the "apprentice".
The market can decide for you.

Did you notice a few extra posts today?
All of my websites are more or less stand alone, and I am now starting to link them up a bit to get relevent linking to work for me.
I have learnt so mush in the last few months I am keen to share the knowledge.
J-Six has been very good to me with income and traffic rankings etc (refer the alexa toolbar I just added)
Did you know the average website has just six changes per year? - what a joke. Search engines love fresh content, and you need to do much more than six.
If you have a website, and you should if you have been reading our posts (if not get a domain name here, and a web host here) - sorry couldnt resist! - then I urge you to update it regularly.
Now that I maintain so many websites I have put together a checklist for maintaining them (just like a garden). I have done plenty of work on the coolest guy on the planet website and also a new adsense website specializing in finance called www.finance-loans-credit.com.
I have twenty six other at this point, and I have a few very exciting ones to reveal soon.
Blog posting is such an effective way to keep your website fresh, and requires a little bit of effort on a regular basis.
I have learnt that it is better to do a few posts here and there rather than lots of posts every few months.
So a website has a metabolism just like us! Keep exercising it and avoid letting it get outa shape!
The coolest way to understand Search Engine behaviour - strange yet true...
When I was researching about Search Engine Optimization last month, I stumbled across a competition being fought hard between the top Search Engine Gurus in the industry.
The deal is, you have to try and be ranked First for the search term "coolest guy on the planet".
So when you go to Google, Yahoo or MSN, you should be able to type in "coolest guy on the planet" and your name should come up first.
Well, as you could imagine, this should sort out the real experts from the pretenders - theorists need not apply!
I thought it would be cool to learn SEO (search engine optimization) by making my own Coolest Guy On The Planet campaign.
What more could a pragmatist do than try the stuff I have learnt over the last few months? And since I maintain multiple websites, I can apply the knowledge staright back into money making activities right?
One of the most fundamental ways to drive traffic to a website is to make the content sticky (worthy of repeat visits). So I decided to make the experiment an "open to the public" ongoing journal of each step taken to achieve a high rank in the search engines.
I must say, the results so far have been incredible, and you can find out where I am up to by visiting the coolest guy on the planet right now!
And tell your friends to check it out too please!
Info Overload - are you feeling burdened?
Very common according to a recent gathering of business minds I attended. There is no shortage of information flowing to us, and we need a very sound system to manage!
A few tips to assist:
It is good to separate work from home by "being where you are at the time" not trying to do both. So by having a system you can make this possible.
The only way I have managed around information overload is to have a system.
1) have an excel spreadsheet (one at work - one at home) and put tabs along the bottom for each topic. Then when you reasearch or listen to an MP3 or read a book, just make notes in the relevant section for example: marketing / websites / Training ..... You know all your resources are in one easy spot, and you can back up to a memory stick. This can also be used for a To Do list and to manage income and expense information, home finances etc...
2) Start straining all your sources of information through a "filter" and immediately cut loose anything that is not great value and a good use of your time. Unsubscribe to useless newsletters and be ruthless with what you invest time on.
3)Carry a notebook and write stuff down. you don't have to worry about it once it is written down, you can easily find it later. You will free yourself up to think creatively. Pull out the notebook occasionally and rip out the junk notes, then you can enter the good ideas into your spreadsheet.
4) Map out your projects on a large A3 notepad, then make an action list
5) Develop and use a checklist. I have checklists for building websites, I use templates where possible. Refine the checklist when you learn something. This checklist can also be put on your spreadsheet.
You can have one master checklist with your monthly tasks, and smaller checklists for random tasks such as "website-checklist" with everything prompting you. The whole idea is to free your capacity up to focus on the doing rather than the worrying.
6) Finally - Put One whiteboard next to desk and put the next five things on your to do list up and cross them off as you go.
Put another one next to it with a Grid with all your projects listed down the side and each task across the top. Tick each box as you complete the task.
Hope that helps....
A three year old knows the secret to getting what he wants
He did not whinge or whine or demand anything. He simply asked for a glass of apple juice.
What he had done was in fact present me with a very easy task, pouring the juice. He was outsourcing the job he was unable to do himself.
He also ensured he made it very easy for me to do this by removing any reason for me to decline the request.
So what?
Well, if you can identify a task you need to outsource, and you make it easy for the "contracter" to understand you desired outcome, you will achieve your result with ease.
When you make it easy for others to "do business" with you, then you will get what you want.
Can you apply this to something in your business?
What would you do with $10,000 to make a great Return on Investment
Assuming the basics - like investing in your own education and seeking advice from trusted certified and credble sources, I recommended the following:
1) Determine your offering by putting focus on a niche target market of prospects who are highly desperate for your product or service and who already spend money on your product, and identify a multitude of reasons why they would discriminate in your favour compared to any other option they have available to them
2)Pick a subject where you know far more about the topic than them
3)Decide a result you want in advance
4)Develop a process by working backwards to where you are now
5)Break the process into small and distinct steps
6)Start the journey and go from step to step
7)Remember to measure your results along the way
8)Feed the required changes back into the process
9)Don't listen to anyone who has not achieved the results they are advising you on!
10)Re-invest the profits back into the project and leverage your results.
11)Collect a great list of clients and resell them and suggest excellent complimentary products/services
12)Enjoy your rewards
This is EXACTLY what I do on a daily basis with success. If you have any questions or comments please drop me an email.
Good luck

the easiest way to learn how to make profit from Google Adsense
he has put all his valuable Adsense information out there in the public arena.
adsense videos
No wonder all the top end of internet marketers are "abuzz". Finally you can see what to do without all the hype and b.s just by watching videos.
He is giving you the opportunity to ride over his shoulder as he lets you discover all his tips, tricks and tools to build a $19000 (us dollars) a month Adsense income.
Of course I went to the site instantly and made a purchase.
Whilst I knew some of this stuff, the missing elements are the ones that will make all the difference!
I invested today tweaking several of my adsense sites so that I can start getting what we deserve.
Michael reveals everything in small 7 minute video sessions right on your screen.
Check out adsense videos as soon as you can.
p.s - one of the tools Michael uses is called wordtracker, and since I got my hands on this it has changed the way I do everything. Pay per click, website optimization and content pages will never be the same. (No wonder John Reese was so keen on it)
p.s - (May 2006) I just checked my adsense earnings and they have gone up 500% already thanks to the information I learnt. Value Value Value!

termites eat twice as much when they listen to heavy metal...
The point is, environmental changes can significantly impact your results - good or bad.
Make sure your environment is allowing you to be as productive as possible. I have developed many successful systems to combat varied workloads.
(For those of you who don't know, J-Six Solutions manages about twenty web sites, and runs a full time family of ....yes you guessed it six!)
Useful Tip1: Put half a tin of fresh coffee with holes in the lid under your desk (near the computer) and see what difference that makes to your motivation when you are working away! The fresh coffee smell has a very motivating effect on me anyway.
Useful Tip2: Have two whiteboards near your desk. One for "macro" tasks - like your "to do" list. The second is for your "micro" tasks, for breaking down your "current" job. The second whiteboard is the one that constantly gets refreshed as you move from task to task.
Well, I am sure you have been waiting for the next post of "real" wisdom from the me:
I have been very, very busy lately. Just got back from the Grand Prix down in Melbourne (Australia) and had a great relax. The race was great, and a reminder of teamwork, skill, money and luck!
What you can expect from me this month...
Firstly -
I will be sending loyal subscribers a gift (free software), it will definitely NOT be made available on this site! So, if you are not a subscriber we estimate you have about one day to subscribe. (It's free!)
Secondly -
I will continue cleaning out (grooming) the whole domain, and adding moving my sub-domains to their own domains (they have been talked about in prior post, soon you get to explore them.) Have you noticed the new logo? what do you think? what else would you like to see on this site? (email feedback),
(special thanks to Matt, Wes and Dion from juicecreative for the logo design)
Thirdly -
The most common question I get is "how do I start up a website?". The answers are just around the corner!
Check this blog in a few weeks for answers

Marketing discussion Part 1
Part of my success has been a study of the great marketers. I know that the way to make profit is to market yourself well, and then you can help others. How did you find this blog anyway?
Because Marketing is so important, I intend to run a Marketing series right here on the Blog, until I roll out my next website that I am creating as we speak called SalesMarketingProfit.com
Lets get started:
I will start with direct marketing and specifically, why direct mail is still one of the best value there is to reach your customers and prospects.
Simply - Advertising in newspapers and magazines, radio, TV and Outdoor has a cost factor problem, and an even greater concern - waste.
This advertising means you're paying for distribution outside your market area, copies that never reach your target prospect and circulation to recipients who are just not the slightest bit interested in your offering.
A very controlled targeted process of direct mail advertising would benefit most business, or sales person.
Highly important is having the right list.
Note: (If you would like to be on my J-Six Solutions VIP subscriber "list" - make sure you subscribe) that was some "list" marketing by the way!
To target specific prospects ensures those prospects will maximise the success of the whole process.
Your list will ultimately contribute 20% to 60% of the overall effectiveness of direct marketing. Needless to say, do not under any circumstances go with the cheapest or least credible list broker!
Start building a list of prospects who have an existent interest in what you have to offer as well as similar traits of your best current clients.
Consider age, sex, occupation, income level, neighborhood or geographic area, credit card ownership, family size, magazine subscribed to, or any number of other demographics. These factors are called demographics.
You can either buy a list or build your own. The most important thing is to realise your list is the single best success factor available to you. If you do not have a list - start building it today!
When renting a mailing list compile a mailing list of people who match your set of desired demographics.
Lists can be obtained by requesting size, sales volume, asset value, number of employees, type of business, geographic area, magazines subscribed to, credit rating and other factors. Lists of executives, owners, sales managers, CEO's, personnel managers, purchasing agents, marketers, stockholders, or secretaries are easy to obtain.
List selection can be tailored to very specific criteria.
A business consultant might want the list of training officers and business owners with net worth's in excess of a two million dollars all across the state.
Generally, the more demographic factors you specify, the dearer the list. Also, extra investment spent in reducing down the list to fit your desired factors is money better invested.
Locating list brokers and sources in your own area is done by looking in the yellow pages under: mailing lists, mailing services and advertising consultants.
In Australia, the organisation to checkout is called ADMA - The Australian Direct Marketing Association. Each Country will have an organistation you can look up. Also - check out trade publications.
Everyone, and we mean everyone should assemble their own mailing lists. Starting with an up-to-date mailing list of all your customers and clients. Direct mail to this list can stimulate additional business, introduce new products and services or promote sales or special offers.
What can you offer as an incentive to start building your list? I enjoy hundreds of new subscribers each month with the incentives I provide at no real cost to me other than my time and effort in making the offer in the first place.
Do you have a product or service you could offer as an incentive to get an opt in list started? Try thinking a free report, a discount first service, a free first chapter etc....

Download this report now!
He's the marketer that shocked the Internet Marketing world a little over a year ago when he pulled in over ONE MILLION DOLLARS in less than *24 HOURS* with a special marketing campaign he put together for one of his products.
But many people don't realize that John has been actively creating and growing Internet and online businesses for over 15 YEARS! (Yes, 15 years.)
And during this long period of time, John has been very busy testing, tweaking, and fine-tuning all kinds of methods and 'tricks' for making money online -- and they've made him a self-made multi-millionaire.
This urgent post today is a recommendation to download his Reese report.
You DON'T have to buy anything!
All you have to do is download two files (although, one of them is pretty large) and benefit from them.
I believe these files can boost the profits in your business if you currently (or plan to in the near future)...
1. Make Money From Google AdSense
John started a little "side business" barely 12 months ago to prove (yet again) that he practices what he preaches. This little business was solely focused on creating what John calls "Virtual Real Estate." In other words, small content web sites that make money from advertising or affiliate programs. (i.e. The sites don't sell any products of their own.)
This little side business of John's (which he will tell you he has spent less than a total of 150 hours developing) has already raked in.. are you ready for this? $521,829.73 in AdSense earnings. (And John expects this number to *exponentially* GROW.) * And oh yeah, these sites have NOTHING to do with "Internet Marketing" or teaching people how to make money. They are tiny niche markets that ANYONE can make money from.
And because ALL of his traffic was generated from no-cost search engine listings, it's almost ALL profit for him. (Aside from hosting and domain registration fees.) Not bad for a side business. ;-)
I'll move on...
2. Make Money From InfoProducts
Do you sell (or plan to sell) digitally downloadable ebooks or physical infoproducts?
If so, You'll learn how to sell TONS MORE of your products and how you can grow your traffic AUTOMATICALLY. (It really is impressive.)
3. Generate An Income With Affiliate Programs
Do you make money from affiliate programs? Or maybe you have plans to start making
big money by promoting other people's products? You'll learn how to BOOST all of your
affiliate commissions. Quickly. Easily. And without any major headaches.
4. Produce Cash From Consulting,
Hard Goods, or Any Other Type of Internet Business. You're about to discover several tried
and tested methods that can be applied to ANY business model that's utilizing the Internet to find cash-paying customers.
Okay. So Here's What This Is All About...
Early last year, John decided to do something as a TEST. He decided to start an OFFLINE monthly publication to share some of his best strategies. Every month he created a 20-page newsletter and companion CD-Rom that contained tons of screencam video tutorials where he DEMONSTRATED his moneymaking Internet techniques.
Now, you've probably never even heard of this publication. That's for a reason...
John decided to only offer it to a very small group of people -- because he didn't know what the response would be.
John has just put a single issue of his 'secret publication' (he calls it "The Reese Report") online for you to go and download --
John plans to take the newsletter and CD-Rom files OFFLINE soon to protect the valuable strategies that they contain. So here's what to do...
(It will only take a moment.)
Go right now and download the files while they are still available! That's it. There's nothing more to it. We are 100% positive you will enjoy them as much as we have AND find tons of ways to apply his methods to make more money.
Here's the link
* once John takes the files down they will no longer be available.

Reese Report
He was the first guy to sell over $1,000,000 in just one day in internet sales.
(The course was traffic secrets)
He has just told me he will be making subscription to his "Reese Report" available to the public. This has been a closed report until now.
We will post a link here when it is ready.

Build it and they will come, or will they?...
Last week I saw the classic scenario of a business owner who commissioned a website to be built and then asked me my advice on what to do with it.
I asked what was the purpose of the website?
He was stunned.
Most people like him think if you build a website, money will just start rolling through the door.
Not the case.
For most new websites, pay per click (PPC) lead generation is a perfect way to start getting targetted qualified leads to your site. That is after all how some of you (our loyal subscribers) found us!
Some people get excited that they have all word of mouth advertising, and they don't need Pay per click. Great. How do you know you have leveraged your best results without testing PPC?
I ran a $38 PPC campaign for a finance website I operate recently and got a $5000 profit return within two weeks. Is that a great return on investment?
The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords
Google has a new system that makes it possible, for the first time in the history of the world, to deposit five dollars, write a couple of ads, and instantly get access to over 100 million people - in less than 10 minutes.
It's called Google AdWords and it's hot. In fact it may be the first and best thing to do to get traffic to your site.
But it's not always as easy as I just made it sound - AdWords has some nuances, and most people have a rough time at first.
Well my friend Perry Marshall has written a very helpful e-course called "5 days to success with Google AdWords" and there's no charge for it.
Start making big money with Google Adwords in just 5 days....FREE. It gets the J-Six Solutions Seal of Approval.

- Avoid errors of all types, no matter how small they seem.
these aspects will also help your site be indexed well in Google because your website will have useful and easy to use information.

Marketing Makeover Generator
Simply the latest product from Alex Mandossian, Armand Morin and Rick Raddatz.
If you recognize these names it is because you have probably been exposed to their marketing in some form. They are behind Audio Generator and Instant Video Generator - two remote hosted tools for internet users. (They are both convenient yet a little dear compared to audiowiz by Brett Mcfall).
This latest product, Marketing Makover Generator is essentially an Opt In (Name squeeze Page) system with nice templates. It combines Audio, Video, Sales Copy and Database collection with an autoresponder. It also split tests for you (comparing the results of one page/headline versus another), and conducts an exit survey if the prospect leaves your page without subscribing.
(It costs about $39.95 per month US dollars).
If you think that is too expensive like I did,
You could just make your own by subscribing to aweber (for autoresponder), get audiowiz (for audio message, and have a name squeeze copy (Just "borrow" one you like - see this one of ours).
In any case, it is well worth reading the blurb to familiarize yourself with the strategies involved. It is pitched at people who are technologically challenged.

First comes the experience, then comes the lesson!
Why?
Well, there is still plenty of money to be made offline as well as online! I have now achieved a very substantial increase in value with minimum expenditure.
Along the way I had a few things happen that provided me with valuable reminders of the things I teach my own clients.
Here is a brief summary for your benefit.
1) Relationships - One of my clients decided to offer his services (no charge) for one day. In that day I got so much achieved as a result of collaberation. His specialties and prior experience combined with my objectives and support resulted in a much more effective result than I could achieve trying to do things myself. A valuable relationship is one where you have the support when you don't even know you need it!
2) Leverage - I had numerous examples where by doing something in a smarter way, I was able to get better results than using brute force. By having others help you (outsourcing) you can concentrate on high value tasks.
3) Planning - How many times do you double or even triple handle things? I found by doing even the most simple planning, ie: identifying the daily objective, I was able to eliminate all sorts of potential extra expenses and double handling. Have things turn up just when they are required, (Just in time) and place things where they are going to be needed are two themes that came to light.
4) Contacts - I found my list of suppliers and contracters saved me effort and expense because they know me and I know them. Build your list of valuable contacts!
5) Commitment - When your friends are going to the beach, and you are knee deep in a two month project, recognise that everything comes at a price. Anything worthwhile will cost you something. The rewards of effort may be delayed, however they will come. You get back what you put in, and more sometimes!
So, if my little project inspires you, or gives you a spark of motivation, why not start a project today? The most important lesson is probably to take some action, any action is going to get you somewhere sooner!
You can look forward to much more fromme this year, straight after I relax from my start of year effort! :)

Audio is easy!
How do you make the buttons? How/where do you upload it? What program to use?
I don't have to worry anymore, and you don't either!
I recently purchased the easiest to use audio product available. And I was absolutely stunned by the ease of using this program.
Brett McFall has produced a simple little software program that generates a Button linked to an audio message. (you can see an example of that here). It is brand new (only released this week), and I predict you will see it become instantly successful.
If you own a website (and everyone should!) Get on to this straight away, if you don't harness the trend of Audio (and Visual) you are missing out.
With this program you can either record your own audio (and you can choose the quality settings), or import other audio clips (in different formats!)
The Bonus recording you receive tells you exactly how to use the audio concept to increase profit (one example is to encourage readers to read every word on the page)
Expect to see more audio coming on this website.
The most amazing thing though is the price. Forget paying by the month forever! Pay once, make profit for as long as you want.

Very Clever FREE advertising Web site
(It is actually a brilliantBlog generating lots of free ranking)
The article continues:
"As you know some of the best ways to get traffic to your site is through the search engines. And as you know search engines love blogs. "
If you know how to use blogs you can easily get more traffic to your website just by posting your keywords in the title and having your blogs indexed.
Other ways to get traffic to your site are to use popular free traffic exchanges. They come in many forms such as start (homepage) exchanges, safelists (opt in email ads), toolbar ads such as instantbuzz.com and forums such as the free advertising forum.
If you are looking to kill 2 birds with one stone, you can advertise for free on a new BLOG that actually allows you to place your ads for free on their site.
The reason this is good is because you get all the benefits of placing your ads on a BLOG and you all get to advertise for free.
Most people would look at this as a no brainer. Although most webmaster do not like people to advertise on the blogs, this site was made just for that.
It is free to join and thousands are flocking to this service to drive huge traffic to their sites in just days by simply posting one little ad on their home page.
Anyone looking to increase their profits should look here"
(please make sure you have a paypal registration before you visit because you will be presented with an affiliate opportunity, and at the same time a great exposure to the "one time only" offer that Mike Filsaime developed to sign up hundreds of subscribers by using the scarcity principle)
Think about how clever this strategy is....

Convert RSS to Email Newsletters Automatically
According to an October 2005 White Paper published by Yahoo,
"Awareness of RSS is quite low among Internet users. 12% of users are aware of RSS, and 4% have knowingly used RSS."
How do you get website updates to visitors who have no idea what RSS is? Easy... Use AWeber's new integrated Feed Broadcaster to allow visitors to sign up for a traditional email newsletter on your blog or other website that uses RSS.
The Feed Broadcaster will take your RSS content that is published thru your blog and automatically create an email newsletter sent to subscribers.
Within one hour AWeber will automatically grab the available RSS content from your feed and queue that content as a new broadcast in review status. From that point forward newsletter broadcasts would be sent out to any subscriber on the list automatically when a new story is detected.
Give your website visitors the choice to subscribe and receive your content in the format and method they want. Learn more about AWeber and start today!

Latest SEO Tips (I have been observing the Portal revolution)
Portals were the original "everything to everyone" gigantic information zones, set up by large corporations before the tech wreck.
These large companies made expensive, slow and cumbersome web portals. The new trend is fast, "sticky" (interesting), slick portals catering for niche areas of interest.
Anyway, what I have learned this week about portals, is the newest ones employ many of the best SEO techniques, and importantly they are "whitehat".
The old "blackhat" days are numbered as you may have read in a previous post. These old techniques of "cloaking", "duplicated content", article "scraping" and "spamming" are short term success strategies with a limited timespan.
The big website earners realize that if they want consistant revenue, they cannot continue to employ these tactics and set up new websites every few months when the old ones get "sandboxed" by search engines. (If you want to know if you have been sandboxed, have a look at your google page rank bar, if it is greyed out, then you are in the bad books.)
What are the best whitehat techniques you can use on your website?
BLOG - you must have a legitimate blog and ping setup attached to your site. The blog will get fed across to all sorts of places when you add news. People are craving information.
Cross Link - your sites from one to another. Make sure your traffic touches other parts of your site - this is free traffic.
Content - Fresh is best. Put nice original USEFUL content on your site. You can use articles by all means, they will not hurt you with the supposed "duplicate content" rule as long as you do not mirror them on your own domain.
Organic - Grow your site, just like a seed will grow into a tree with branches and leaves. If you generate a 300 page site and it just appears one day, and nothing happens to it for three months, how natural is that? That is equivalent to waiving a red flag at the serach spiders. Plan to add to your domain consitently over time. A decent site (like ours) will stay in tune with the clients and add things as they become relevant. This is the organic way.
Change -keep making improvements to the layout and structure of your site. (We are restructuring this entire domain soon, you will definitely notice the changes!) These changes have become simpler thanks to my new website building software. I also get users to give feedback about how easy or difficult this site is to navigate. (Feedback welcome here). The main point is, the game will always change, so search engines like updated sites. (I am niching this site into easy segmented areas so you can explore the niche of most interest to your needs at the time.)
We hope my recent research helps you get your website optimised, whatever you use it for.
Happy online activities!

Build websites super fast and make them work for you...
I have been seeing this program being recommended (and used) by loads of successful online business owners. It is a very easy "Web Optimised" program for entry level or advanced web programming. You can literally build websites in minutes once you get the hang of it.
I have been researching XSitePro and other products such as SiteBuildit and I have made a purchase!
It is compatible with other web software programs and is ideal for salesletter, adsense, name squeeze or affiliate sites.
I use this program for our other websites at the moment andi am recording results to discuss in later posts. ***(Note as at March 2006 I have made well over $1000 dollars in profit)
More on that soon.

The Internet Rules Have Changed! FREE report
(I was sent this report by a prominent Internet Marketer this morning, and it spells out the pitfalls many websites encounter whilst trying to gain Search engine Rankings. I have posted it on this site for your viewing with permission from the author, Jason Potash)
Also, if you intend to make revenue from adsense you should educate yourself about the new "rules".
This report offers a free software tool to assist you with selecting high quality content for your website. (If you choose to download the software you will be asked for your email details.)
If you intend to build quality, content rich, useful sites, you need not be concerned. Google are allegedly keen to weed out all the "Garbage" sites that do nothing more than sell ads and serve up "dribble" content.
Better internet days are ahead...

Lessons from a Web Performance Powerhouse
If you have a business and you either have a website, or are considering a website, perhaps you might find this site interesting sitesell.com
This site is jam packed with interesting information and utilises a number of powerful business strategies.
For example, the main site sitesell.com cleverly has little sub domain names for each related topic around the main site. See proof , rss , traffic . In other words, the little "surrounding" sites all hang off the main site.
The purpose of this is twofold. One - the main site gets presold leads sent to it from the targetted peripheral sites, and two, each sub domain is veiwed by the search engines on its own merits - this means keywords have "more power"and come in the free search listings.
For anyone contemplating a web presence, this site is a magnificant example of how to make maximum impact for very little outlay. Oh, the other tips on offer are techniques such as "social proof" and "overdeliver" and "targetted" content...
I have placed a free ebook link for you here

Links, Links, Links - Search Engine Rankings Part 2
Thats what every website owner dreams of. Sure you can pay per click to get traffic but as the heading suggests, the secret is all in the links.
Why?
Links mean that your website is of benefit to someone. So if your website has links coming into it, the web spiders (those electronic "bots" trawling the web) rate your site higher.
Some estimates place incoming links as being responsible for about 95% of the search engine rankings.
When someone links to your site, they are earning you valuable search engine credits. The more highly ranked the site that links to you, the better.
You should also link your own pages to each other so that they are connected to the highest ranking page within your website. The web spiders only look at each page individually.
If your competitor has a higher website ranking, they possibly have more links.
The other way to have links to your site is to submit articles to online article sites such as www.clickpress.com or www.press-world.com and include your website in the "resource box" at the bottom of the article. This should generate some visitors if your material is newsworthy.
You can participate in online discussions or forums, where you get an opportunity to leave your website address with your signature. Try looking at http://groups.google.com/ .
Give other site owners testimonials (and include your website) providing you support their product.
Hope this helps!!
How BLOGs help your Search Engine Rankings
(If you want to know to how your website ranks there are several ways, One is to get the alexa toolbar www.alexa.com or the google toolbar http://toolbar.google.com/?promo=mor-tb-en and enable page rank)
I have done some comparisons lately between three webites I run, and a BLOG (like this) can mean the difference between being ranked at 4.9 Million versus 241,182 in the Alexa rankings.
Why should you get a BLOG (weblog)?
Blogs are content rich, are updated often, and tend to have links to your other pages and elsewhere. The idea is to make them have interesting content so your clients want to come back regularly.
Blogs are rich in the keyword content of your product or market, for example if you were selling sales training you would have many articles relating to sales and training. The web spiders (electronic bots that roam the internet looking for content) love these articles and see your web site as being more valuable, thus ranked higher in the search engines.
You can also inform and educate your clients in a conversational way, to show them reasons why your products or services are useful or special. You can step them through each aspect of your offering.
You can easily syndicate (have lots of people access your blog) by notifying the blog networks that you have updated your posts (called pinging). You can submit your blog to RSS (really simple syndication) servers like feedburner. www.feedburner.com. This could expose your blog (and linked website) to potentially thousands of viewers.
You can capture clients details (through an opt in box) to build your list and promote relevant products. Products like aweber can help you build your clientbase.
You can display targetted advertisements to make an income. Just pick products that compliment your product. Ask yourself, what product comes before or after yours, or is a good pairing to your product?
You can refer people to links that have an affiliation (Host beneficiary relationship or Joint Venture) so that you may gain from "traffic flow".
You could use a Blog to educate your clients about the latest changes, tips or tricks relating to your poduct or service.
So, if you do not have a BLOG yet, think about it. They are free from good providers.
One of the best advantages is you can overcome the main problem with emails (most of them don't make it through to the end user) and you no longer need to do battle with a spam filter to communicate with your clients!
Where do you get a BLOG?
Try blogger (this one is) owned by Google. www.blogger.com they can host it or you can host it on your own website if you are slightly technical. This is a remote hosted "no software required" easy to use program with great templates. It migh talso get more traffic since Google are major players!
Other programs are 20six at www.20six.co.uk/ or word press . Word press is more complicated, and you will need some technical knowledge. Checkout Typepad.
Happy blogging!

How to know what is "hot"
Are you trying to predict the next trend?
If you own a business, are in sales (and that is you by the way -because we are all in sales whether we know it or not) or own a web site, try this experiment:
Go to the Overture search tool and choose a word related to an article in todays newspaper.
See how popular your chosen key word is here:
This site is particularly useful if you are trying to choose a domain name or use "keywords" to buy traffic.
I made a tidy profit with a Pay per click campaign based around the words "da Vinci" and "Potter" due to the popularity of these words being typed into Google.
enjoy!

How to get a Website..
(In the case you have one already, you are welcome to read on anyway.)
J-Six Solutions use this Web host company for our website and we chose them because they have very competitive plans and loads of features. They have special prices for each plan, and you can check them out at the end of this article.
The first step is to set up your site. That means get a domain name, then have it hosted. You can get a domain name from many different providers, ours are sourced at GoDaddy (They are very well priced).
Once you have your domain name, you simply choose an appropriate "web host plan". We use a corporate plan because it has great features.
-There are lots of "WSYWIG" (What you see is what you get) web hosting programs out there with templates, but if you want real flexibility, look for a "C Panel" function.
C Panel is like a dashboard or control panel for your site. You will need features such as plenty of GB (Space) allowance, unlimited email accounts, 24Hour 7Day access to your FTP (File transfer) manager, CGI Scripts (These are pre-prepared web language functions), Customer support, and templates.
Let's assume you go for a C Panel site, you fill out the application form from your provider online. They take your credit card details, and then your site becomes available immediately via an interim log in address provided by your host.
You need to "point" your domain name towards your website. The web host will tell you how to do this on your application confirmation, you just need the passwords, and the Domain Name Server Settings (address).
Next, your domain name will be "resolved" and this can take 24 Hours. This is when you can see your website by using your address bar.
So, you now have a website, and a Control panel. Well done.
Next, follow the instructions on the C Panel to setup an email address, and a homepage.
You are on your way...

The following information could assist you "fast track" your current situation, and in any case will no doubt help your future no matter what you choose to do.
Recently I poured over heaps of notes, and past employee interview templates to come up with these tips and others. You can now get right inside the inner "mechanics" of a job interview. It has taken years of interviews, and study into the behaviour of candidates to gain the insider knowledge of the whole process. Soon I will be publishing an ebook for job seekers and also for job interviewers - you can subscribe to be notified when they are released.
There is a lot going on when you get to the interview stage of a job, and that applies to both the interviewer, and the interviewee. Now I reveal the most important aspects.

Lets get started!
